“Sex and the City” fait définitivement partie de nos séries préférées.

R.I.P. Kenneth Jay Lane, the master costume jeweler who built an empire hawking replicas of previously inaccessible pieces by Van Cleef & Arpels, Verdura, David Webb and others. While other designers had explored costume jewelry previously, most notably Coco Chanel, Lane is widely credited with bringing it to a mass audience. Patricia Field used an unquantifiable amount of his pieces throughout the series and the two films, the most iconic being the gold filagree butterfly necklace that Carrie wore in season three. It also made an appearance on the cover of Time Magazine, further cementing it's iconic status among Sex and the City fans. The necklace is still manufactured to this day and is available on Lane's website for $140 ?(S3/EP16) #RIP #KennethJayLane #CarrieBradshaw #StatementNecklace #CostumeJewelry #Iconic

?Attn: Darren Star / @hbo ? We have a totally fire concept for the inevitable third SATC film, outlined below. Dm for inquiries ?_______________________________________________________ In 2037, Miranda, Charlotte & Carrie are suddenly single again after Miranda finally comes out of the closet, Harry dies of a stroke, and Mr. Big leaves Carrie for Natasha’s daughter. The trio flee the gentrified wasteland that is Manhattan to join Samantha at her upscale South Beach retirement community. Hijinks ensue as they navigate the wacky world of geriatric dating, all while juggling their catheters AND cosmos. Evoking both #GoldenGirls and #TheFirstWivesClub, SATC: 3 proves that friendship, like good fashion, never goes out of style.

⚡️STAY ALIVE IN 85⚡️ As far as we can tell, Carrie is completely apolitical. She doesn’t even fucking vote. So it was a tad surprising to see her wear this iconic Katharine Hamnett slogan t-shirt in the first SATC film. Hamnett designed the shirt in 1985 as a show of solidarity with a group of female anti-nuclear activists that held an ongoing protest outside of a military base in England. We doubt that Carrie is aware of the history behind this garment, it probably just looked really good on the rack at Resurrection. But thankfully what Carrie lacks in political adeptness, she makes up for in styling. #FuckingCarrie #KatherineHamnett #Givenchy #ArgyleMoment #StayAlivein17 #WomensMarchLook
