De Ierse Chris en Leah O'Kane gaven elkaar onlangs hun jawoord voor de kerk. Ze hadden een doodnormale ceremonie verwacht, met een doodnormale priester. Maar plots begon priester Ray Kelly uit volle borst te zingen. Hij bracht het bekende nummer 'Hallelujah' van Leonard Cohen op een wel heel spectaculaire manier!
De tekst van het lied was aangepast zodat de inhoud perfect paste bij het bruidspaar. Chris en Leah en de héle kerk waren ongelooflijk verrast. Het was een geweldig cadeau voor de mooiste dag van hun leven. De priester kreeg dan ook terecht een staande ovatie. Op een paar dagen tijd werd hij wereldberoemd, het mooie filmpje werd al meer dan 25 miljoen keer bekeken op YouTube. Hieronder vind je de tekst (misschien een ideetje voor je eigen huwelijk?).
