Tomorrow is payday🎉🎉 That means today I am going through my cash envelopes. Here is what I have left in my cash envelopes PET = $0 MISC = 42 GAS = $55 FOOD = $151 FUN = $48 BEAUTY = $47 That leaves me with a total of $343. So how do I decide how much to rollover and how much to save? The first thing I do is look at what events or appointments I have coming up. For example, I have a lash and wax appointment scheduled for Thursday, which will cost $80. I budgeted $75 for my paycheck tomorrow. So I will rollover $20, and save the rest. I will rollover small amounts, like the $5 and $1 most of the time, and then I will use the rest for my financial goals. How much you decide to rollover VS what you save or use for debt is based on your budget and the events you have going on for the month. What would make you feel more successful with your money? Make a plan for your leftover cash, if you have it. If you have been following me for awhile, then you know I don't follow magical formulas or conform to specific percentages. Sometimes what's right for you, isn't for somebody else. You have to follow what you are feeling in your heart, or you will never have the passion to continue. Seeing progress is based on your ability to step outside the box. That's what makes budgeting fun. It's your ability to have that control. When you are wondering what to do with your money, ask yourself "what can I do with this money to get me to my financial goals faster? What would make me feel at peace?" Trust your heart and be confident in your decisions. I will be detailing in my budget overview on YouTube the exact amounts I have decided to save from my cash envelopes. What are you doing with your leftover cash? #cashenvelopesystem
